Happiness

This little guy makes me SO happy.

He is just the absolute sweetest little thing.

 The other day we had a little conversation in the car about me having a husband.  It went a little something like this...

L:  Mom, do you have a husband?

M:  No, buddy I don't.

L:  Do you want one?

M:  Someday I hope to have a husband.

L:  Well, I can be your husband until you get one.

M:  Landon, that is so sweet.  We can pretend you're my husband until I find one.

Landon was cleaning the oven door with Windex and ventured off around the house to clean other surfaces, too.  When he finished he came to me with the Windex and towel still in his hand and said, "Mom, I cleaned everything for you.  I will clean everything for you always that way you never have to do it".

I love how this sweet boy looks after me.

Landon and I went to visit my parents a few weekends ago.  While we were there Landon wanted to go fishing with Grandpa so that's exactly what we did.

 We fished along the river and had absolutely no luck.  There were a few nibbles at first but nothing beyond that.  :(

 Since we didn't have any luck with the fish biting we decided to enjoy our picnic lunch,

 and feed the ducks!  

Who knew that ducks liked Cheetos?!?

Belly Laughs

Landon and I were sitting on my bedroom floor the other day talking and playing when one of us did something that caused him to go into complete belly laugh mode!

I don't even remember what was said or done, but I'm thankful I had my camera close by because he is the absolute cutest when he laughs!!

 I did go a bit crazy with the picture taking and I couldn't narrow it down to just a few for the blog, so I put the majority of them on here.

This sweet boy has every little piece of my heart.

Visit

Landon and I made a trip to WF to visit Tandy and Harley.  I hadn't seen Harley since she was just a little baby and I couldn't wait to see her this time!

Landon and Harley are just 9 months apart, so I knew they'd have fun playing together. 

  This picture cracks me up! It looks like Landon is licking Harley on the cheek, but really he was dancing around and sticking out his tongue and I just happened to snap the picture at the perfect time!

Silly kiddos.

So glad that I got to catch up with two sweet girls.

Weekend

We've had a pretty relaxed weekend around here.  Landon is feeling much better and has been fever free since Saturday morning!  Yay!!

Landon had his last soccer game on Saturday afternoon.  We celebrated the end of the season with pizza and cupcakes at a local pizza place.

 Landon was pretty proud of his new medal!

After the soccer party we headed home and Landon took a long nap.  He must have been worn out because he never wants to take a nap these days.

 Sunday morning, a cute little guy that I know woke up super early, so I decided that we'd head to the early church service.

 "Look Mom!!  I can make my tongue touch my nose!"

After church, we spent the afternoon hanging by the pool.

I love nice relaxing weekends!

And just because I don't want to forget...

Landon has been so inquisitive lately asking questions about anything and everything ALL.DAY.LONG.!!

Some of the questions I can answer but most of them I have to just tell him that I really don't know in which he responds, "But why don't you know, Mom"?

Some of his questions:

Do worms have eyes?

Why is snow slippery?

How does the wind blow?

How does ice melt?

Is six seven eighty four a big number?

How does Jesus make volcanos?
